Responsibilities
•
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00pm
•
As the Insurance Specialist you will be following up on claim denials, review reports, reconcile accounts, resubmit corrected claims, and collaborating with various departments within the department to ensure the accounts are being worked and corrected
•
The metrics will include working 40 accounts per day and maintaining 95% correction standard
•
Monitor delinquent accounts and perform collection duties
•
Review reports, identify denied claims, research, and resolve issues
•
Perform a detailed reconciliation of accounts, and resubmit claim to payer
•
Review payment postings for accuracy and to ensure account balances are current
•
Work with partners to resolve payment and billing errors
•
Recommend accounts for collection or write-off
•
Contact patients to secure past due balances, verify patient and insurance information
•
Update information in computer systems, and accurately document conversations
•
Contact third party payers to resolve payer issues, expedite claim processing, and maximize medical claim reimbursement
•
Perform other duties as requested or assigned
Benefits

Pay: $21-23 per hour
